Are there traditions or "rules" on your campus that visitors wouldnt know about?

I spent much of a UGA/AU game drunk sitting on the stairs by the arch on UGA's campus. I kept walking back and forth through it trying to find my tailgate but kept going back to sitting there. Only later did I know that "only UGA grads" are supposed to walk through it. No one yelled at me so maybe that is only a rule for current UGA students.
I know that A&M has something with grass, which I guess is "dont walk on the grass". Do other schools have these types of "rules" that visiting fans would never know about?

Please don't frick our sisters or cousins. They're ours and we'll fight you to the death for them.

It is "don't walk on a very certain area of grass connected to our memorial center."
We have plenty of grass you can walk on, or chew on if you are an LSU fan.

Don't plant rye grass on Bama's campus or your trees die on your campus.

"Please do not walk on the historical mound."
That's really all that comes to mind for me at first.

I'll buy your sister a nice steak dinner then cut her lawn.

Not entirely accurate. If you're a student, you don't walk underneath until you've graduated. Superstition is that you won't graduate if you walk under as an undergrad. I think it's similar to the seal at Auburn.
Other fans and such can walk under as far as I know.

Can't walk on their grass or wear a hat indoors, well you can, but they get all pissy about it.
"Get off our lawn"

So obviously it is part of a memorial, but is there a bigger story behind it?
At first I just thought it was a place they let Lassie poop which would have made sense not to walk there, but this is much more interesting.

Our rivals aren't allowed to win a football game on our campus, but nobody pays any attention to the rule.

You're not supposed to pick up your garbage on North Campus at UGA.

I must have lost this knowledge as soon it was told to me at Camp War Eagle.

Also a long honored tradition

The grass that surrounds the MSC is considered one of its most important legacies. It is a living memorial dedicated to all Aggies, past or future, who have given or will give their lives in wartime. In order to respect the 955 Aggie soldiers killed in the line of duty, Texas A&M tradition prohibits all Aggies from stepping on the grass that surrounds the building.
the bigger story

It use to be a rule, or more accurately a superstition that you could not eat Pork products on game day.
Some of the old timers still follow this, but they are the same one who remember and use the "hog" hand sign from the SWC and yelp "sooie, Pig!" at random times during games.
When they aren't busy being a fan, they are trolling a NFL fanbase with their personnel decisions.

Non-aggy can go where they want.

Oh, I see, so it's open season for everyone else.
