I believe this to be true. I truly like him as a passer, and I would take him over any QB in this draft from the 2nd round on.

I realize QBs today are overvalued thus organizations have to draft them extremely high based on both immediate impact and potential. However, he settled in quite well after a disastrous junior year and had a pretty good season in 2013. Why not go with a proven passer when Bortles and Bridgewater are your alternatives?

I know he has very low mobility and coming off an injury but I just think he holds the most potential for a starting job in the NFL out of this QB draft class. IMO, he leads AU, Bama, maybe even SC to a national title and wins had he been under center at those respective universities.

Which signal caller do you like best in terms of NFL talent and potential? Mettsiah has the league written all over him.

Bama - Yes

Auburn - Not in that offense

SCAR - Not with that team in general

And I actually might think you're onto something, but I'll sit back and watch.

Not a troll. The worst game of his career came @ Ole Miss and still almost managed to pull out a W. He is a good QB. The rant will figure out soon enough and whomever drafts him will be arrested for theft.

Are you saying in a diluted quarterback draft, Mettenberger isn't a pick to piss on?

Probably the 6 highlights ESPN shows when talking about him.

Highly doubt too much of this guys time was spent watching UCF.

I think Mett will turn out to be the best QB in this draft class.

Go back and watch the UGA game, or either of the Bama games. He can sling it.

Honestly, and this doesn't have to turn into shite tossing, look at the facts. Mett has extremely limited mobility and pocket awareness. He's coming off of a torn ACL. There is the whole sexual whatever it was issue, and the failed drug test. The truth is that at this point, he's probably not very high on anyone's board, and has probably been removed from some boards. Not many, as his upside is ridiculous, but he's gotten himself into most of his trouble.

I don't understand this whole limited ability and pocket awareness shite. He's a pocket QB. What the hell do you expect? There's plenty of those in the NFL and his limited pocket awareness is overblown. His first year starting for LSU I could see that but he improved a ton his Senior year.

Theres not a shot in piss that Mett will be the best QB in the draft. He was the 5th best QB in the SEC last year.

hg I don't like it when you provide serious responses.

He doesn't need the mobility, but the pocket awareness is a must. Pocket QBs have to avoid some sacks. He never flashed that ability to me, but he can learn.

According to...you?

Here's a newsflash, even if he is undrafted and left to die he will still play as many professional snaps as AJ.
