Totally FWIW... Each teams top 2 Cross Division Rivals records since 1992...

Just for shits & giggles...
The original 12 teams since '92 have each played 1 team 22 times & another team 14 or 15 times... no team has played another team more than 8 times(except AU, played Vandy 9 times) since '92.

Excellent thread with some real information to discuss. So basically, LSU has the seventh toughest cross divisional competition in the league. It's not fair.

You want to see something really interesting?
Look at the rotating opponents' records for each team the years they played the rotating opponent.
We could probably all do it for our own teams to make it faster.

AU has played a tougher schedule than any sec team since before 1992. Since at least 1980, no sec team will even compare to AU in terms of strength of schedule.
Seriously, won't be close considering AU played Uga, uf, and Tenn every year in the 80s. And of course bama and even lsu off and on.

Hell, we did that several times in the 80s. 1988 and 1989 we definitely played all the other big 6 and beat all but lsu in 88 and UT in 1989.
