Mississippi State basketball announces the home and home contests with Oregon State this afternoon

LINK

Before announcing the new non conference opponent, earlier today Oregon State fired their head basketball coach, who just so happens to be Barak Obama's brother-in-law. (Robinson had not made an NCAA Tournament appearance in his six years with the school)

Robinson, the brother of first lady Michelle Obama, was 93-104 in six years at Oregon State with no NCAA tournament appearances. The Beavers were 16-16 last season and will lose all five starters. Robinson had three more years remaining on this contract and the university is expected to owe him more than $4 million.

Oregon State loses all 5 starters and fired their coach. Looks like Ray may get his first career road win in Corvallis next season.

Looks like his past 6 years have been about as successful as his brother in laws
