Has there been a division in a conference as good/competitive

As the west on a 5-7 year consistent level?
I mean for the last 5-6 years you could make an argument for usually three teams winning the west. Between LSU BAMA auburn and Arkansas back in mid 2000's and now A&M.

Even MSU and Ole Miss are making some movement as of late. Would not be surprised if either one of us finished 2nd.

Brutal division.
Wouldn't want it any other way.
I'd rather we finished last in the SEC West than first in the old Big 12 South.
