Could the Alabama fan base be classified as a cult

Cults are often willing to kill or be killed for their cause. No fan base in the United States is more willing to kill another person over a football game than the Alabama fan base.
Cults also often put their leader on a pedestal and worship him as a deity. No fan base in the universe worships a successful football coach as a deity more than the Alabama fan base. Alabama fans wear houndstooth patterned shirts, hats, purses, and underwear 30 years after Bear Bryant's death just because he was known for wearing that style of clothing.
The fans have also set up sites on facebook called the Church of Saban and the Sons of Saban. I believe there is a group of people called the Sons of Saban who attend every Alabama home game
