A camera operated by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources offers a unique look at peregrine falcons nesting on downtown Atlanta's SunTrust Plaza.

The falcons nest in planters on a balcony more than 50 stories above ground.

High above any natural predators, the planters offer soft substrate and afford some protection from harsh weather.

GDNR said the falcons have been nesting in a large planter on the balcony and its young hatched a couple of weeks ago.

Peregrine falcons have been nesting at SunTrust Plaza since 1997.
