Plan Accordingly

As an aside, I don't see the Vandy-Ole Miss game on September 6 listed here, so I'm guessing it's on the ESPN mother ship.

Sat, Sept. 6
Noon
Florida Atlantic at Alabama
Noon
Arkansas State at Tennessee

4 p.m.
Eastern Michigan at Florida
4 p.m.
Nicholls State at Arkansas

7:30 p.m.
Sam Houston State at LSU
7:30 p.m.
Lamar at Texas A&M

On Saturday, Sept. 6, the SEC Network will showcase six different matchups. Each of the games will be available to all fans who receive SEC Network. The games will be televised on either the SEC Network or an overflow channel made available on that Saturday.

So now, not only do we have to change providers, we have to hope we are in the right region to watch our team?

How many complaints will they get when certain carriers get into contract negotiations and it's not available early in the season.

Just look at the stellar line up of broadcast talent they have lined up...jesus. With the exception of Tessitore, the rest suck balls.

• Paul Finebaum, host of The Paul Finebaum Show
• Greg McElroy, college football analyst
• Booger McFarland, college football analyst
• Brent Musburger, lead play by play
• Jesse Palmer, college football analyst
• Marcus Spears, college football analyst
• Maria Taylor, host and college football reporter
• Tim Tebow, college football analyst
• Joe Tessitore, host of SEC Nation

Palmer is very good and fair.

On the other hand how many times will Tebow praise Jesus and/or cry in a season.

Looks like all games will be available. Hopefully every week and not just this one.

either a limited time channel only available when certain events happen like the Olympics or placement on a channel that normally does not air whatever the "overflow" programming is.

something like when CNBC airs NHL playoffs, ESPNews carries college football games, or you are directed to a specific channel on your cable/satellite system that is normally empty.

SEC Network is great, but if you live in Oxford and Ole Miss plays on the network you cannot get it unless you have dish. The only cable provider in the city will not carry it.

Sort of off topic, but has anybody heard any news about Charter picking up the network? Thats really going to blow if they don't.
