How will the "non-bridge" SEC football schedule move forward ?

Now that the SEC/McWhorter-scheduling savants, have had THREE years to work on this....will they simply take the common sense approach and schedule cross divisional opponents based on the LAST time teams were paired ? OR, will they continue the mind boggling,inexplicable "bridge" format ? Will it be home/away in consecutive years ?
i.e. team X has not played team y in 6 yrs. so, they must play them next year...no if's and's or but's !
