For example, what happens if the other school backs out of their deal with the SEC school for their own reasons, scheduling or weather, etc and the SEC school can't reschedule?

What effect would this have on the SEC school?
Would they not be allowed to win the SEC? Since the SEC school would not be conforming to the new rules, would they be punished?

Sorry if this has already been addressed.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Slive has probably already thought this one out and has a plan/exception to the rule.

Yep. The rule is as follows. Let's use bama as an example. If say WVU backs out on Bama, LSU has to play the Seahawks.

I'm guessing Slive'll draw and quarter the head coach of the offending team.

What if a school starts scheduling Wake Forest every single year?

Slive would give Bama a pass and everybody else a forfeit.

I believe they said if the school couldn't get it done, the conference would help them. So I would assume if the conference helps and is still not able, an exception would be made.

They're a BCS school, so there would be no problem.

I'd say this is Vanderbilt trolling, but they're too chicken to even do that. As of 2014, that is.

This seems fair to me, but I am sure somebody would still whine about it.

this is sorta like a unfunded mandate in a way. I am sure there are any time at least 14 schools in the 4 conferences allowed that would agree to it.

Florida, UGA, USC already have 1 permenently

12 of the teams are allowed to reschedule any opponent

Alabama is credited with an automatic win.

LSU is credited with an automatic loss.

Doesn't KY already play Louisville every year? They are going to the ACC this year.
