Top ten reasons keeping the current scheduling was the right move:

8. Nothing says "college football" like Ole Miss/Vandy.
7. Tradition.
6. Playing LSU is the only way to guarantee the Gators will play a good team outside the state of Florida at least 50% of the time.

And two reasons why it's complete horseshite:
1. Hope our fans enjoyed that trip to Georgia. It will be another 15 years before we go back.
2. A kid could play his whole 4 years and college and not even get to play every team in his conference.

I have to give props to Tennessee. Not only do they have to play Florida and Georgia every year, but they continue to fight to play the traditionally best team in the SEC every year. It's good to see a fanbase with a set of nuts.

Why does it matter if we play a good team outside of Florida. Since Tallahassee is in the state of Florida it makes it easier to win there?

I got a better reason reason because LSU,SCAR, and UF all play legit ooc opponents already so adding an extra game for them would do nothing of relevance
