For the record, I'm a tough parent and because of that my two young boys are very well behaved.

He's been identified as Marcus Crossland of Jacksonville's Kona Skate Park.

He in no way felt remorseful in the aftermath of doing it. a-hole straight walked off the ramp like he ain't worried bout nothing
btw I only laughed because falls are freaking funny

This all over the news here. Our friends know them well. No excuse. It does remind me of being pushed into a pool a little

What's the big deal? Basically pushing him down a slide. It teaches that there is no reason to fear the fall on the gradual slope.
But let me guess, it's ok to make them stand in a batters box with a completely wild kid trying to throw it for strikes.
This is a non issue and I bet the kid was skating 5 minutes later.

if that kid is going to skateboard he will have a lot worse falls than that.

There's a difference in seeing your fall coming down a half pipe and all of a sudden being kicked off the top of one from behind. Kid is 5-6 years old. Lots of bad shite could happen on a 15 foot pipe when kicking anyone off it, let alone a 6 year old.

It's a very gradual slope (curves slowly at the bottom)
But you would have been just fine if the kid would have went on his own? That's when shite gets real!
Look, quit being pussies, what he did taught the kid that his falls would be ok.
Ever bring a baby into the water that was scared until he realized it wasn't bad?

The stairs to go DOWN and meet the kid is where the parent went.
How in the frick do you know the kid wasn't laughing after SLIDING to the bottom?
Do you really think he gave him a board and brought him up there? NO he had probably taken him up there dozens of times and let him slide down without a board. ANd I'd be willing to bet the kid had done much smaller pipes before that one..
Geez you guys are just pitifull

My father and uncles did this kind of shite to me all the time as a kid. It's not a shitty excuse for parenting and it's not shitty parenting...it's only bad if the kid got hurt which he doesn't appear to be, he just slid down something made for sliding.
