Surprised at Louisiana. Based on these boards you think it'd be around 90%.

Texas seems low too based on how much we boast, but 68% is near the top.

Apparently I need to educate my fellow Landmassians about the greatness of The Great and Glorious Landmass

Ohio seems the lowest to me. Those frickers are annoying as shite about their state.

(Come at me TA)

2 of the 3 people that live in North Dakota have state pride. I wonder what pissed the other guy off?

We know it's kind of a shithole. The excitement on the board is that it appears we're slowly starting to make it to outhouse level and may reach indoor plumbing in a couple of decades.

I'm surprised (in a good way) that Alabama's isn't higher. Maybe people have more sense here than I give them credit for.

Living anywhere in north LA would be awful

anywhere in west Texas would also be awful

but the entire states of Alabama and Mississippi is unlivable IMO

The coast of both Alabama and Mississippi are pretty legit. There's some pretty country in middle to north of both states too if you're into the whole rural thing. I couldn't do it, but there are plenty of hidden gems.

Unlivable for me are the Dakotas. I'm from the gulf coast, I can't even conceive 40 below.

I love skiing, and mountain biking is pretty cool once in a while.

Oh ok. It's just that I've noticed that most of your views are usually "different" from most of the other Alabama posters.

All mountain states with a bunch of awesome scenery and outdoor adventures to be had. If you love that sort of thing, of course you'd love one of those states if you lived there.

Plus Texas is full of transplants too. Texas born and bred, it's got to be like 105% on the pride meter.

I'd much rather prefer to be on or near the ocean.
