Griffin was never going to Georgia. Our RB situation is too deep, and he's more of an Oregon back.

Looks like he'd get crushed in the SEC and he probably wouldn't see significant PT inside the SEC until his third year

He wouldn't be an every down back in the SEC but if the coaches build an offensive plan to get the ball in his hands he'll be a star.

I love these comments. When we played Auburn in 2010 their little speed back tore up the SEC. Maybe someone can remind me of his name. He will fill DATs role and get 10-12 touches and he will have competition with Devon Allen and Charles Nelson.

It's April

ETA - LSU has a whopping 2, with the second actually being rated below UGA instate commits 2 and 3

Are Georgia fans the most gracious in the SEC? Damn, A&M and Florida fans have flocked to our boards telling us not to count are chickens with Murray and Cowart and we are delusional while Georgia fans have been nothing but gracious. Florida fans have been the worse by far though. The best interactions with the SEC have been Tennesse and Georgia and it's not even close.

LSU fans weren't pretty, brah.

ETA: you're the one on TAJ Griffin to Oregon thread rubbing salt in the wound when TAJ was never a fit for GA to begin with.

We appreciate the compliment. We're the best.

In all seriousness, I think a lot of it is due to the fact that most UGA fans wrote off Griffin as a possibility when we signed Michel and Chubb in February. Florida is a bit blindsided by the Cowart thing, I think.

I guess. They are feeling really insecure these days.
