Completley depends on what it is, where it is, the circumstances, etc. Lots of factots at play.

No, i don't have any
visible tats, no i wouldn't hire them. If a tat is covered then i would still hire the person but id have to keep a close eye on them. they would have a much shorter rope than others

Sure, if they were otherwise qualified. I wouldn't use them against them in the hiring process.

Subconsciously it's also a way to cover yourself up. It shows a lack of confidence.

they make your business look trashy if they are visible at work. I would stop banking with my bank if the teller had a neck tat. I laugh at the people in the business college that have them.

If someone has their fraternity letters tattooed on them, even if it's not visible, I would not hire them.

I think it's a really interesting form of art. If done right it can be really beautiful and can accent the human body.

Well that depends entirely on the business. Not sure I would hire someone with neck tats that would have a lot of face-to-face contact with clients, but if it was just an in-house position with little face-to-face contact, I don't see the problem.
