Bandwagon and it's not even remotely close. Bandwagon fans are the scum of the sports fan world and I despise them.
Just because someone didn't go to a school doesn't mean they automatically suck.

Bandwagon fans. Sidewalk fans make up a good majority of the college football fanbase. A lot of people are fans of the school due to the affiliation of living in the state where the institution is located.

Sidewalk fans choose a team to support that they have no knowledge of yet act like an expert. Even though bandwagoners pick a team that is currently winning they will eventually learn more about the team and may eventually become a legit fan. A sidewalker is the douche friend that just roots for the team your team is playing just to get under your skin.
