Jordan Mickey is having a presser at 2, likely announcing he is staying, top 4 in the sec is ours.

They usually don't have pressers to say that they're staying. If they're staying they usually just have a press release.

We heard the exact opposite when Jarnell announced he was having a press conference.

It doesn't always happen that way. Obviously some guys want a presser. It's just not the case usually.

As I recall, the party line was that no one in the history of Tennessee had had a press conference to announce they were leaving. Which may be true for Tennessee up until that point but usually means the exact opposite at every other school in the country.

This LSU basketball we are talking about. Any reason to get people talking positively about basketball is a good reason for a press conference.

he was seen in class today, so pretty good sign that he is staying. Also would be a mistake to leave, he needs to put on more weight

Pretty much. Peyton held a big press conference to announce he was staying. Jarnell Stokes had press conferences each year saying he was staying. Others usually had no press conferences on leaving so when Jarnell held one to announce he was going, he was the first I can recall doing that. Others usually just have releases - no conferences.
