Starting small forward next season. Needs to improve his jumper and ball handling.

Now we wait to see what Dakari Johnson, and the Harrison's decide to do.

James Young - NBA
WC-S - Return
Julius Randle - NBA
Alex Poythress - Return

Dakari Johnson is expected to announce next with the twins announcing last. Hopefully there's a pattern.

My head is going to explode if Kentucky returns that foundation and Jordan Mickey leaves

Poythress should've gone to vandy and been the top dog getting tons of minutes and points... instead he's sat on the pine for most of his career.

picking UK probably stunted his career, to be honest.

Cal pulled Marcus Lee off the bench when WCS like he was an afterthought. It's just the chance kids take in D-1 sports

Poythress started every game last year and averaged 20 minutes a game this year as the 6th man. Not really riding the pine.

Marcus Lee started 5 or 6 games in December. He got his chance.

These guys will be going up against better talent in practice than they will in 90% of their games next year.

I don't think any of these kids made a bad decision to go to Kentucky. While game minutes may not be there for all of them, they're consistently getting to practice against better competition than most players in the country. Building good practice habits will take them farther in the NBA (or other pro basketball) than scoring 4 more PPG in college.

I'm not disagreeing with you guys. I think kids should go to the school where there will be happy and get the best development.

A lot of people don't realize Poythress is a 4.0 student and will graduate after next season. Good reason to come back IMO.
