Yeah. Even though you can't see the faces of the kids, you can feel the hurt as they are left watching and are not allowed.

And the german boy, to me, looks as though he's nonchalant and it's no big deal there are bodies littered on the side of the road.

That attitude was everywhere back then. Just a snapshot of that particular moment in time. It could have been taken anywhere across the U.S.

It's hard to imagine, painful to imagine really, that my dad could have been playing on one of those "white only" playgrounds while the black kids watched from a fence, dejected.

Those are very interesting pics. Some are cool and some are sad. I guess that's what makes them interesting. Thanks for sharing!
