Earlier in the week, Marshall’s agent, Myles Solomon, said his client had not been contacted by Missouri. But in a phone interview Tuesday with the Post-Dispatch, Solomon’s tone shifted. Asked about Missouri’s vacancy, Solomon declined to comment on any current job openings, including Missouri’s situation.
“I’m going to stay away from any talk about searches,” Solomon said.
Some interesting things to think about, If Marshall accepted the position his family wouldn't necessarily have to move to Columbia as Wichita is only a 3 hour drive. Alden could also provide him with Mizzou's private plane football uses to recruit with.

One step closer to getting him as Arkansas's head coach. Great news.

3 hours, 6 hours. Same thing.

Perhaps you're older? Only when presented with no other options I've made this drive, and been in Wichita in three hours. With all the resources the Ad has, I'm sure Alden could accommodate his family by providing a charter flights for his family. The fact Marshall hasn't declined any interest in the job publically is extremely encouraging, and with his agent backtracking the excitement is growing.

KC to Columbia is two hours for seniors, one hour for college students. Once outside of K.C. southbound on 1-35 it's two hours to spirit airplane factory in Wichita.

One ticket on my driving record for doing 55MPH in a 30 MPH zone. It's possible if you're not doing the speed limit
Posted on 4/22/14 at 8:04 pm to TigerNick23
From your information it appears hes not coming.

Like I said before MS2, you are full of shite which is par for the course.

My estimation of mileage was a lot closer than your claim of a three hour drive!

Considering I'm not doing 70 MPH in a 70, and usually closer to 90-95MPH my calculation might be off slightly. Still it doesn't take six hours to drive to Wichita fricking moron! Going by GOOGLE it says 4 hours 39 minutes, not SIX frickING HOURS!!! I don't stop on the side of the road to take scenic pictures of Kansas because there is nothing scenic about it... and don't even need to stop for food/gas because Norm's economic philosophy is brilliant. Now I know when I'm older I may have to drive slower like you old asses, but in the mean time I will cut at least an hour off the drive and spend as little time in Kansas as possible. Isn't it bingo night at the senior citizen home ?

I'm quite certain a Geo Metro cannot sustain this speed.
