U.S. Senator Boozman having emergency heart surgery

U.S. Sen. John Boozman is undergoing surgery Tuesday morning at an Arkansas hospital, according to a statement on his website.
Boozman, 63, "is receiving excellent care," the statement says, without specifying his ailment.
His Senate office will give more updates as more information becomes available, according to the statement.
The Northwest Arkansas Business Journal reported that Boozman was taken to the Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas emergency room by ambulance for emergency heart surgery, but that couldn't be immediately confirmed.
The senator had been scheduled to speak this morning at the opening of the first stretch of the Bella Vista Bypass.

Excellent place for him to be when he needed this, my father spent some time there after he had heart attack.
I'll eagerly await for this to be used to describe Boozman as a "bleeding heart" in up coming campaign ads.

If it was an aortic aneurism, there's a decent chance my brother-in-law was in the OR with him. Naturally I'm not going to ask. HIPAA and all that.
