Nah, unfortunately my sports career was cut short due to an injury. But yea a lot of former athletes or attractive females are usually high targets. So much of getting into this field is about who you know.

Even being an attractive female nowadays won't cut it. I jus know you'll need at least 1-3 years of great B2B numbers even if you know someone. Good luck though

NYC, seeing your father in law do it for so long would you recommend it as a career path with a good lifestyle? Not just financially but also by still having time for your family.

He was the west coast sales manager for a lathroscopic device company. He did well, lots of travel. Pretty much gone 3-5 days a week for most of his weeks a year. Eventually laid off.

Really in the medical sales industry Id recommend biomedicine and high end pharm, like cancer treatment, disease treatment, etc... Lots of Jobs, Lots of money and perks. You will job hop a lot, but its just the industry

I have heard recently that pharm isn't the way to go now. Of course they probably weren't talking about high end pharm though. Most of my medical experience is with ortho some I'm most comfortable with that. I've also heard robotics is a good area to enter but I have not had that confirmed

this isnt regular pharm, its bio medicine \ bio tech. the owner of my companies wife does it, as well as several other people I know. they change jobs every 6 months to a year to move onto something else. But big money, lots of jobs, stock options, etc...

I would not get in the dental industry, unless your territory is heavily favored for your company. Dental sales is a weird industry

Sorry, by ortho I meant orthopedics. I'll have to look at the high end pharm some. I don't really know much about that but seems interesting.
