Ole Miss Sophomore OT Austin Golson looking to transfer closer to home...

What have you heard, Ole Miss fans? Obviously, by reading the article, he wants to be closer to Auburn. That leaves Auburn, Alabama, Troy, UAB, and teams like that in the fold. Any word on where he wants to transfer, as of now? I know Auburn recruited him pretty heavy out of high-school, IIRC. He could provide some depth for us.

He hasn't said for 100% sure that he wants to transfer but it certainly seems that way. Freeze said he probably won't block him from transferring to where he wants to go but if he lets him go to Auburn he's a fricking pussy.
If it's really about just being closer to home then let him go to UAB or Troy or something. Those schools are just as close as Auburn and they don't directly help an SECw opponent.

Freeze is soft AF he releases him to an SEC West school. SEC for that matter. Kid seems bitch made, considering he is saying its a homesick deal. As far as I'm concerned, he should have to go juco if he wants to attend one of the bigger schools in Alabama.

Agreed. If you're "homesick" drive. I'm sure an ole miss booster would be more than happy to lend him on of their 6 cars to get him to see his family and friends.

So? Ole miss boosters will just move them to Memphis. Not shitty memphis, but a decent area. It's not like the NCAA even has a leg to stand on right now.
