Auburn
Offense - A
Was really impressed with JUCO transfer Duke Williams. He will be a perfect compliment to Sammy Coates and the rest of the WRs. Running backs took a hit with the injury to Barber, but CAP impressed as did Grant. The highlight of the offense had to be the improved passing ability of Marshall. He was accurate, moved well in the pocket, and had good touch on the deep and intermediate routes. His footwork was also much improved from last year.

Defense - B+
Hard to really judge improvement on this side of the ball with so many starters held out due to precautionary tactics and or injuries. JUCO safety Derrick Moncrief stood out as did Trovon Reed. Most positive take away was the absence of Jake Holland

Special Teams - C-
Punter is serviceable, but punts low line drives with very little hang-time. Kicker looked terrible. Missed an extra point and barely squeaked in a 50 yarder with a gale force wind at his back. Not looking good

Overall Auburn looks to have picked up where they left off after a BCS Championship run.

Offense-B

Defense- B+

The loss of Golson hurts like a bitch so right now I'd probably downgrade our offensive potential to a B-

Didn't watch, but reading some reactions we'll be lucky to win a game this season.

Defense good.

Quarterback and offensive line play bad.

Good thing it's only a spring game.

Same as MSU. We just don't have a real good team. QB can't pass. WRs not catching. Run game is horrible. Defense lost a lot.

Good thing is we have a great FG kicker now.

I was going with a D grade but both kickers are freshmen and theyre not that bad.

Personally, i think we were spoiled rotten with the best punter to ever lace up at Auburn, Steven Clark

UGA

Offense - B+ Mason looks more than serviceable as a replacement for Murray. Gurley looks healthy and the WR core should be really good. Offensive tackles look fine, but the guard position is a big worry.

Defense - B Pruitt looks like he's making good changes with the D, but our secondary is still a huge concern. Linebacking core looks terrific and the D-line should be good. Looked like it struggled a little bit in the new scheme. Biggest upside was watching defenders actually run towards the guy with the ball instead of just watching

Special teams - A- Morgan barely missed a 53 yard fg left, but I believe that was the first one he missed all spring. Erickson looks to be fine as a starting punter.

What specifically makes you say marshall's footwork improved?

Specifically, what about the way he played told you that his footwork has improved?

looked balanced when making throws, stepped up in the pocket when pressured, had good rhythm on his throws and didnt throw off his back foot

Defense - A
Offense - C
Special Teams - D (but that's only based on field goals)
