I know we recruited this kid pretty hard. Anyone know if the transfer rumours are true and that Auburn is a legit destination? I know there's a thread on the SECr, but not much good info in it.

See our recruiting thread. There is no indication there is AU interest yet. The story just broke. Give it some time. FWIW I think UAB is a realistic destination also. It's only 10 minutes further from Prattville than AU and the new UAB coach Bill Clark was the HC at Prattville for 10 years and I'm sure has connections to Golson even though he did not coach him.

Sounds dumb but with his grandfathers' health as an issue, could he petition to not sit a year at all? I know this has been done like in Prosch's case.

From a totally selfish standpoint, IF he decides to come to Auburn, it would be better for us if he did sit out a year.

Chances are pretty good I think that happens since he has not Red Shirted yet. He will not lose a year of playing eligibility by sitting a year.

Nice, like adding a 4 star tackle (which we need) with 2-3 years of college conditioning to the class. Should be able to step right in and grab one of those tackle spots when Young/Coleman leave.

Would be a nice addition. I'm loving Grimes!
