I'm reserving judgement until we see some legit competition. Does make you wonder where the haters are that were screaming about Marshall working out with that QB guru in the off season.

Marshall ended up not working with that Guru because Gus said he didn't want anybody tinkering with his QB other than him.

I'm not expecting him to have the passing nuances of a statue QB but he's totally different from the player we saw against Washington State.

Its going to be a fun season. You can tell him and those WR's have some swag and are on the same page. They are going to be lethal, not to mention Marshall's elite zone read capablility.

I was glad to see he, DQ and Sammie joking around on the sidelines. They seem like then have good chemistry together (on and off the field)

Sammie is pretty level headed which eases my concern about DQ and his temperament.

DQ seemed really excited just to be at A-Day. I was a little worried he would come in with a prima donna attitude. He definitely didn't act that way on Saturday.

I think DQ gets a bad rap. I saw some things from his JUCO days and he seemed like a strong leader who worked really hard. Then we've heard the same things coming out of spring practice at Auburn.

Here's an even better article by Stewart Mandell at SI.

NM's A-Day is capturing a lot of attention.
