What the Hell is up with our kicking game. We get all of these highly touted kickers then they come to campus and act like they've never seen a football before.

It was all an act IMO. Didn't want to show WVU that we have a competent kicker, so we told Griffith to make today look as ugly as possible. He did quite well with those instructions

I like this excuse as well.
When he actually made one today, I had a little WTF moment.
I think the broadcasters continued to announce the game as 7 to 7 for a while after the kick.
