One beat writer says the search will be full steam ahead come Monday. Makes sense being the Easter weekend.

Message board banter of Howland and Marshall. Some feel an offer or at least a feeler has been made to Marshall. Some think him not shooting it down right away is good news....again Easter weekend.

Apparently a poster from another board has a child being recruited by Tulsa. Said poster was down at Tulsa's spring game. Saw Frank Haith, said "whats up coach" and pointed at his hat. Frank apparently and abruptly looked in another direction then his wife stared down the poster....

You're welcome

Oh. We won't waste it.

I'm not sure what that means.

Howland is a dirty coach who can't control his players.

My thoughts exactly.

There's a reason Howland was fired from UCLA. Also he hasn't done anything of note in like 7 years

There is a rumor catching some fire at PM that Howland is the next coach. Rumor being the key word, so take it for what it is.

Personally, I would have no problem with him, that is, if Marshall turns us down. Howland can turn a program around quickly, and has multiple Final Four appearances.

Say what you will about him being dirty or what not, but researching him seems more the case he recruited one Thug that he didn't discipline enough while at UCLA, got caught up in the UCLA power broker politics there and couldn't get out of that mess and run the program the way he wanted to.

He has a pretty impressive resume, plays tough hard nose defense (aka Norm Stewart) that Mizzou fans would appreciate. I'm not saying he is the best candidate, but I do think he would be a damn good fit at Mizzou if Alden chose to go this direction.

I wouldn't be against Howland either, but would love to know that we at least made a good run at Marshall.

According to all indications, we have already reached out to Marshall. It's really up to him now, we just better be willing to throw a butt load of money his way, something I have no problem with. He is my number 1 choice, and Howland would be just fine with me also.

Is Marshall the guy at Dayton? Or is that Miller?

Howland really fell off his last 5 years at UCLA. Of course that's from final fours to 1st and 2cd round losses. He missed a couple years too.

Marshall is Wichita State silly.
