SEC Championship Rings Are In

These are the "smaller" rings for our lovely lady friends of the football program

The rings are different. The one in the OP is missing the extra ring of diamonds around the centerpiece and only says "SEC" not "2013 SEC". So these rings actually AREN'T Germans.

I guess since the tigerettes' rings are smaller, some editing had to be made.

That's a fair assumption. The cost of those extra diamonds could also be rather considerable. That might be another reason.

I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure all the "stones" are man-made. I seem to remember an article a year or so ago saying each ring could only have ~$350 in materials (NCAA mandate). The market value for the rings are considerably higher though due to what it represents.

Ah...fair enough. I just saw the article you linked to mentioned diamonds in headline. The size explanation does make sense though.

Yup, but those are cheap diamonds if they are real. Not much value to them. And they use 10k gold.

Kick six was not personalized for this ring so I assume it is standard.

The team rings are bigger and have the players last name on the outside and full name on the inside. No "kick six" any where on it. Ill post a picture of one along with a 2010 national ring tomorrow afternoon.
