Louisiana and Texas have the best economies in the south without a doubt. No business wants to be in a piece of shite state like Georgia or Alabama.

Wait, people actually believe unemployment statistics put out by the government?

The frick? Louisiana is one of the most poor, most fat, most uneducated states in the country. Georgia is not.

Your bias is showing.

By Georgia, you really mean Atlanta because the rest of the state is no different than any other southern state.

And Louisiana is about to boom economically. Motherf'n hydrocarbons.

Well, the Atlanta metro makes up two thirds of the population of the state of Georgia, so sure.

Meh. Georgia's economy is doing just fine.

New Orleans isn't even one of the busiest ports in the country anymore. Savannah is though.

What does Georgia's economy have to do with the TX/LA/Gulf Coast boom?

The port of New Orleans is doing just fine and the manufacturing that will be coming from south louisiana will certainly give it more support. This isn't a Ga/La pissing contest. I'm just commenting on the future boom coming to the third coast.

Absolutely nothing.

Doesn't stop me from adding my .02 though. Hate Louisiana. Don't care.

It's cool. We'll enjoy having culture. You enjoy whatever it is about Atlanta that makes you happy.

I will, knowing that my chances of being murdered are about half of what yours are.

Also, I've lived all over this country. I'm from the D.C. metro. I know culture.

The murder zones are easy to avoid if you know the signs. We just contain them. It's not a problem if you can't see it right?

Are we talking about Nola or Memphis?

I have been robbed in New Orleans, but not Memphis. Guess it means I know my way around in Memphis.
