Mizzou......Archie Miller. Odds of any Mizzou hire or any hire staying 10 or more years is slim anywhere these days. Make the bold move.

Tennessee........Mike White. They want Pearl ball back

Going out on a limb and predicting Auburn will have the best hire of the three.

Tulsa done a good job of attracting the up and comers over the years, several came through their program on their way to winning NCs at capable programs.

I see no reason why Mizzou or Tennessee could not be the next Tulsa.

Is it a sign? Notice the date it was posted. 2 days ago. Starts off talking about how Marshall won't go to UT, but keep reading.

Marshall would have to prove himself capable of recruiting to the SEC.

It is harder to get JUCOs to the SEC than the Big12 or especially the MVC.

Marshall lives off JUCOs, so can he get as good players who would be eligible? That is a huge question, one a school is going to have to make him one of the highest paid HCs to find out...

Marshall ain't happening. Just thought it was ironic that it was just posted a few days ago.

BTW, he'd only have to change it from JUCO's to transfers and he'd fit right in with what Haith started at Mizzou.

I think Tennessee's coach comes from Tyndall, Howland or Mack.

Well, then Bruce Webber to Mizzou.

Shaka is waiting for a blue blood to open.

Sorry, but Shocker job is on par with Mizzou.

Cronin and Mack using both UT and Mizzou for pay raise.

Archie going to follow big bro path…waiting for a 2cd tier job to open up (see Zona).

Both will be underwhelming hires, imo.

Not everybody has the gull of Jeff Long and go after a proven winner.

Also Alden for Mizzou has to make a homerun hire or an attempt at one. He is not getting Marshall, the next hot name is Miller. Many feel he wont leave, I feel he will and money wont be an object for Mizzou. His coaching tree goes back to Arizona and I am pretty sure, baring an epic collapse. Big brother Sean will be there at Arizona for another 20 years. Does not mean I think Archie will be at Mizzou or other, ten years from now. I do think though the odds are better with him than a Marshall, or other.

I read earlier the rumor was he would for 3 mil a year.

He isn't worth that at this time, mainly for the reasons I listed above.

I just wanted to point out the players he gets, yeah they can play, but often they can't play in major conference due to entrance standards.

It is more laxed in the big12 than the SEC for some reason, Mizzou landed Ratliff a few years ago over Arkansas mainly because he couldn't qualify, although I doubt he would have chosen to play for Pelphrey over Anderson.

Won't happen either.

I don't know who it will be but it won't be either of those 2. I'm beginning to think you're just trolling but I know you don't do that.

Mizzou already had a fiasco and got used by Painter to get himself a raise at Purdue.

Webber is Illinois' garbage and that's not going to happen at Mizzou.

I think you are missing my point, I am saying Archie wants a school that has success and a Final 4 in the book.

Both Mizzou and UT, not in the 2cd tier level…but below.
