Eggs come from chickens, though.

I think it was some fricked up down syndrome arse shite arse egg that created a chicken.

So, the egg. Then we decided to eat the frickers.

This is the actual correct answer. Egg cells are primordial derivatives of a past time when life was unicellular

The chicken. What evolved into what we now know as a chicken was first hatched from a very, very slightly different species. The egg was technically from a different species, so the chicken was first

The chicken. He was the one who made this site, and the Egg came later.

If the species were different, even ever so slightly, that means it wasn't a chicken egg.

Is a chicken egg defined by what lays it or what it hatches?

Is a chicken defined by what it is hatched from or what it lays?

I love this problem.

The egg is encoded in the female mother hen's DNA. The embryo is the unique organism, and it resides inside the egg.

The egg was a chicken egg though because a chicken came out of it.

So the egg.

The greatest false dichotomy of all-time. The correct answer is neither.
