According to his State Fair coach, Kevin Punter has decommitted from Mizzou. Depending on who Tigers hire they could still be in picture.

Next years team.....think Vanderbilt this year.

Kid was offered by Mizzou and Missouri St. Not a huge loss, and possibly could be back anyways

I don't follow recruiting, is Pinkel offering scholarships to punters now?

It's not about Punter. It's about what could be down the road. I hope it doesn't happen, but I am preparing myself for JW3, Clark, Gant and Wright going elsewhere. Putting on that perverbial nut cup.

How do our classes line up right now assuming nobody leaves?

Why would you assume that? There is no chance that all 4 of Haith's best 4 recruits don't bail.

I see no reason to make that assumption.

You hope so. So you can get on here and moan about the adverse effects of our entitled and petulant fan base.

I wouldn't be a Mizzou fan if I didn't moan like the entitled and petulant Mizzou fan I am every now and then, now would I?

I posted it somewhere, but off the top of my head:

Seniors: Post
Junior: Bello, Rosburg
Sophomore: JW3, Clark, Jones, Rector, Beidschied
Freshmen: Gant, Wright

Then Feldman (SR) and Barnard (SO)

I'm just wondering if all the transfers we took to line up the classes correctly for recruiting proved fruitful now that he gone.

In my head, I'm just wondering if it's worth it/necessary to keep filling up with transfers to line everything up with the new guy. Or if it's just worth it to mail it in for a couple years and do it the right way.

Seeing as how the class of 2015 will have no recruits, and we'll be in the same situation as we were when MA left, I would say that we're going to suck for at least 3 years no matter what.

If everyone stays, it's out of whack just a bit because of both Clarkson and Brown leaving. Punter would have made that a bit better, but he gone.

Now, if those 4 leave, it will be pretty balanced. Only problem will be that it means like 2 in each class. Well, 0 in the freshman class. Let's just hope the rest stick and stay.

I'd bet a lot of money against that

Minimum.

Which is why I think they really have to make a big splash with a new hire. Anderson might be a big splash with the fans, but I don't see a Mr. Basketball from Georgia being impressed with a Division 2 coach he's never heard of, even if he did win a NC.

They won't be Gant and Wright caliber. Jones, Rosburg, NWC caliber is about as good as we can hope for. That's not the formula for a winning team.

We were going dancing in 2015-2016 with the core of JW3, Clark, Gant, and Wright. But, now we can forget about 15-16 and 16-17 too.
