Mizzou Tigers, please don't whoop us too hard this weekend.

Without our facial hair we are powerless. Lord Cohen has seen fit to strip our boys of their manliness. I come, hat in hand, to ask y'all to please hold off on the whooping you're surely going to extend our way..

With both of our baseball rivals (yes, if you haven't figured out by now, I'm talking about baseball) having bested us, we are beat up and downtrodden. Surely we can not stand against your tigerish might.

So please hold it back a little on us. It's the nice thing to do.

The fact that you are concerned enough about beating Mizzou in baseball that you would post this means you are fricked. There ain't no reversing that shite. If you would have been quiet, you would have quietly come into Columbia, swept the series, and gone back home. Now, you have tried to screw with the baseball gods and Mizzou will win the series 2-1.

It's the very definition of an afterthought.

Don't really want to get into this relevance argument.. But I really think that if college baseball got more airtime it would be more popular. I couldn't care less about softball but it's on all the time.

Here's the thing about Bob Costas' comments about the NCAA, pro leagues don't need farm systems. The NCAA is a perfectly fine farm system for all sports. Costas wants to kill college sports, I say fugg that.

I think I'd care a lot more if my team was going to Omaha often.

I'd also venture to guess you'd care a lot less if your team hadn't been to Omaha in a really long time.

See how that works? That happens with peripheral sports.

Some people on this board pretend to care about track and cross country and equestrian and tennis and swimming and diving. I pretend to care about having a great J school.

I heard the baseball team was celebrating at happy hour pretty hard after hearing that Haith was leaving. State should be fine.
