With the announcement of Matt Joeckel transferring and Kenny Hill being suspended, I was wondering what the good people of Louisiana thought of Speedy Noil as a quarterback?
He played QB at Karr and put up great numbers, but I'm not sure how his game will transfer to the college level. Sumlin seems confident in his ability to be an adequate backup, but any further insight would be great.

you honestly might really need him. Once Sumlin announces Allen as the starter I think Hill is gonna bail too, then thats when shits gonna get real with only 1 scholarship QB on the team

Hill and Claiborne have been reinstated....
And the QB battle is far from done. Showers anyone? That being said the only situation I'd be happy with if Kenny transferred is that we landed Kyler Murray.

Hill isn't suspended, he isn't going to transfer, and Speedy Noil wasn't promised the QB position no matter how many times butthurt LSU fans try and say he was.

Seriously, they should just let Allen get it started off, and it will pay dividends for the Aggies down the road in a couple of seasons. Invest for the future....

I'm sure he'd be fine, but his ceiling is as a receiver, imo.

This is best case scenario. Three years of Kyle Allen. Three years of Kyler Murray. Three National Championships between the two of them.
