I just had an intense sadness come over me and I couldn't catch my breath and I just wanted to cry and disappear.

Could've been the chicken wrap I just ate but I doubt it.

Your heart rate skyrockets, you might feel out of breath, get tunnel vision, etc. Because you're going through puberty you're probably having mood swings from hormones.

Weird. The school nurse said I had one today. I've done a lot with signing up for Mizzou over the past few days. Got assigned my dorm room yesterday. I dont know why I had one, because Im beyond excited for next year.

I've read that panic attacks feel like a massive amount of weight around the heart and lungs.

No wait...

I've had a couple stemming from a heart condition when I was younger and I truly believed I was about to die in the moment.

Dang, dude, you should see someone about this. From your past postings on the Rant, you seem to regularly experience extreme emotions. Have you been diagnosed as clinically depressed?

There's a sure fix for it if you are. Life is a lot more fun if you're not traveling through it on a roller coaster. Believe me, I know. Been there. Done that.

I had one once according to the doctor. I could not breath or swallow and it felt like my chest was being squeezed like in a bear hug.

I've had an anxiety attack but never a panic attack. I hear they are pretty similar but caused by different things.

I think I had one once when I was high and eating some dinner. I excused myself to the bathroom because I thought I was going to pass out.

A panic attack is more debilitating and can actually cause you to black out. Some people have even lost their vision to panic attacks (temporary though).

Anxiety attacks are a heavy weight on your chest which can cause dizziness and hyperventilation.

Panic attacks are common on UF campus following 3 years in a row losses to UGA. Ask one of them, they know.

It probably was not one, but I just could not breathe and felt like I was going to pass out.

It kind of felt similar to heat exhaustion.

I've had something similar happen to me while in that same shape, but not sober..

Felt like breathing underwater for a second, for no apparent reason. Chemical balance is a nofo.

I had a bad headache afterwards.

I think anxiety attack is caused by some kind of stressor while a panic attack can be out of nowhere with no direct cause. Those might be backwards though.
