I'm Team Coker, but I find it difficult to reconcile articles like this with the underwhelming footage of his play last year.

I will be honest. I want Blake Sims to start the opener. And I think most will understand my underlying reasons. But after that, if Sims isn't the guy to lead this team, them I am all for Coker.

I'll be on that same boat if Coker doesn't impress in the fall practices.
edit: After reading the entire article....I'll say that I'm very impressed with Coker. He's having to do a lot to get to T-Town and of course he'll be behind a bit but I think he has all the tools to win the starting job over the other guys.

I wish Coker the best, seems like a great kid. I think it will be a tough battle seeing that Sims has the chemistry advantage and the players seem to be rallying around him. Whoever Saban thinks can lead us to Atlanta for the conference championship and beyond, I'm in support of.

I don't give a shite who plays QB as long as we win. I know Sims was a fricking monster at QB in high school. His highlight tape is unreal.
