Probably for the OT but since Bubba is a Dawg I figured it was best on the GSB. So tired of the constant needling from the nanny state. Dude just won the Masters AGAIN. Leave him alone for F--- sakes and shut the F--- up!

Bubba at the Waffle House!! :)

Typical left wing Liberal Democrat hate for someone that has achieved instead of being a loser sucking at the government teat.
Class envy at its worst.

I enjoy reading Rush more than listening to him.

Fox News has succeeded again. They find the one person that had a problem with Bubba eating at a waffle house and made it headline news. The masses love stupid shite like this. Get the people angry. Get the people to create threads in various forums across the internet to express their anger, displeasure, etc. Get people to watch more fox news.

So then it's OK when NBC or CNN does the same thing, finds the one batshit bible beater from Kansas who says raped women should be forced to have the baby, and after they have the baby, they should do prison time for dressing up like a whore which caused the ALLEGED rape to begin with, so all the liberals can point at the conservatives and laugh, and watch more msnbc and cnn.

got it.

As Rush points out later in the link, it has nothing to do with nutrition.

The following exchange is what Rush breaks down.

quote:

TALLMADGE: Well, it would be great if celebrities and sports figures set a better example for our obese nation.

CAVUTO: Well, what's wrong with the Waffle House?

TALLMADGE: There's nothing wrong with the Waffle House if it's an occasional splurge, but these gazillionaires love to show Americans that they're one of you. And so, to win a popularity contest, they go to Waffle houses, diners, steak places, when in reality, to be a great athlete or a celebrity in good shape, they don't really eat like that.

This has jack shite to do with cholesterol or blood sugar.

Those of you who skimmed the first paragraph or two of the link, you should read the whole thing.

No. I am of the mindset people should feel guilty about everything they do. I am. I feel guilty no matter what I do. Everyone in both stories should feel guilty. Bubba should feel guilty for getting fat. The nutritionist should feel guilty she has nothing else better to do. The psycho guy in Kasnas should feel guilty for being a POS, and Fox News should feel guilty because they're not really a news station. They have to rely on this stuff. They, like MSNBC are "analysis" stations. They don't hire more than a few reporters. But they hire "analysts" out to wazoo. CNN still has a ton of reporters but their situation is completely different.

Huh? WTF does FNC have to do with this? You obviously didn't check out the article and assumed it to be Fox because the link does not go to FNC's site. Check your facts before you start throwing around liberal talking points. Dip s#1t(ready-fire-aim)

They didn't make it headline news, it is newsbusters running the story. Not sure about your judge of character but seems to me most of the folks on FNC are head and shoulders above the MSNBC talking heads--particularly Matthews and Schultz.

They are the same thing. If you can't see, it's because your too caught up in their message. But they're the same thing. I think both are reprehensible.
