It means we were on the front lines of the first revolt against those in Washington D.C. and we will be on the front lines yet again.

Then I wish they'd concentrate on repealing the income tax, the Patriot Act, NSA, Department of Education, federal drug laws, mandatory minimum sentencing, Death taxes, EPA, socialized medicine etc.. The guns are safe, they aren't going anywhere.

And the EPA plays a role. They've overstepped that, but it doesn't need to be eliminated.

No doubt, they do. They are just unchecked and operate outside the confines of the Constitution with impunity.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. Guns must be protected first. Without ensuring that, there is no way to protect other rights.

Like I said, the guns aren't going anywhere. There are more guns in private ownership than people in the U.S.. The U.S. ranks 1st in the world in gun ownership rate per capita, almost doubling the 2nd place country's rate of ownership. What are they going to do? Go door to door and take them? You do realize the military probably would tell the government to go frick themselves at that point, right? Without soldiers, politicians are weak and feeble.

Which of these is a factual statement:

1. The United States never landed men on the moon.
2. The Earth is only 6,000 years old.
3. Guns stop gun violence.
4. The South lost the War.

Here's a hint.. it's #4.

I just happened to reply to the last post in this idiotic thread.

Apparently Gun Owners and legislators only read the 2nd amendment and no other parts of the Constitution.. like the Supremacy Clause
