I do want to cathc a baseball game at MSU. Looks fun to me.
I know a couple Ole Miss fans in Houston and they all say its overrated, go to Ole Miss instead.
They Jelly.

hard to argue with that list. the atmosphere at the new alex box is about 1% as good as the old box. the new stadium has no character.

Your link ranks the 5 "coolest" stadiums not "best" - is it that hard to transfer what it said on their website to your thread?

Set a top ten attendance record for a regular season game and then come talk to me. Dudy Noble has the best atmosphere in baseball. Only Ole Miss fans will disagree.

Dudy Noble definitely has it's place in CBB history, I will give em credit.
But make no mistake, the scene surrounding it is nothing special. Like was already said, it was originally a damn cow pasture.
On the other hand, you got Swayze Field in Oxford. The beautiful, all-chairback venue sits down in a valley near the intersection of Old Taylor and University. The backdrop in right field is just a little place called Falkner's Woods and other beautiful oaks litter the landscape.
Dudy Noble is a great college baseball venue and has hosted the largest crowds ever, kudos to them for that.
However, give me this allll day:

I agree with you, but you're wrong.

Attendance = best atmosphere?
I'd be willing to bet Death Valley has a much better atmosphere than Neyland Stadium, The Big House, The Horseshoe and Happy Valley.
Not that I'm disagreeing with you on which is better, but top attendance doesn't mean shite when it comes to atmosphere.

That's false. It doesn't mean everything, but it sure does help a hell of a lot. I just don't see how anyone can put State lower than number 1 in the atmosphere department.
Using football is apples to oranges. Not a good comparison IMO.

The atmosphere at Dudy Noble is better than Swayze. And I've been to both.
I have more fun drinking at baseball games and grilling out than I do in the Junction tailgating for football. Mostly because I can cook and drink while watching the games without worrying about getting in trouble for having a beer in my hand

Miss state is probably the number 1 in atmosphere.
If it were atmosphere, I think OM and possibly Arkansas should be on this list. But it's venues, and still OM has a better venue than Oregon at least imo
