Sorry bro, can't make myself read a chippy-t link.
Intensity can't hurt, but I'm going to hold back a little until after the Clumpson and SC game before raining praise and or, scorn.
He can't use any excuse either he has the correct personal in place to make a top twenty defense from coaching/staff too players.
It could be a 'fantastical year hope so!

2 games isn't near long enough to judge how good the guy is..more like 2 years should be the judging point. This is a guy who a few months ago didn't know where the bathroom was or a single players name, and a few months from now has to face 2 top 15 teams. Growing pains are inevitable, we'll take some lumps for sure, that's no reason to heap a bunch of shite on the guy.

A lot of our guys have got to get their weight under control,” Pruitt said. “We’re too big, in my opinion. We’ve got to get a little smaller. Some guys have to cut body fat, some guys need to put on a little bit of muscle. So we’ll see how everybody comes back from summer conditioning.”
As for leadership, Pruitt said: “I think our upperclassmen have a ways to go when it comes to leadership. We need more out of them.”
Seems he is in the same thought i hold. ..
Itdawg said we were just fine last year and the strength conditioning program was just fine....
Lol

I said I like having him as a coach because of the intensity.
Never said he wins us a championship.
He is already showing more coaching ability than TG.

I love his attitude...
This team/school has gotten lazy and complacent and its time for stiff change. I welcome it with open arms. This guys fire just might be what we needed...and were not talking the Grantham sideline heart attack fire....but the fire this guy seems to be trying to build in his players.

Translation: we have too many fat asses.

At least the long standing problem is now out in the open and being addressed accordingly.
This must have the saw grass disney clowns in a tizzy having an Alabama boy come in and frame these problems so vividly and in a clairvoyant nature.
No chowder punk comments either:

Nothing that hasn't already been addressed. Glad he's here, and waiting anxiously for the results.
Grantham is gone. Hallelujah

There aren't many of those left. Certainly not on this board
