9-0 in Springfield.

Arkansas comes to Springfield week after next. Could MSU establish themselves as the best program in Arkansas & Missouri?

Is MSU on the border of Missouri and Arkansas?

It means MSU sawed it down to make some bats and so they could slap 9 runs on your arse.

Matheny's kid is a beast. I forget if he's a freshman or a sophomore. Go Wildcats.

Soph I think. I met him last year at their pre-season banquet.

Apparently, he made a diving catch to end the game.

And this is an MSU team that I think went something like 58 consecutive innings without scoring a run. We turned them into world beaters. Now watch us win the series against the other MSU this weekend. Just how this team is.

There is nothing you can do or say to make me give two fricks about college baseball.

Sorry man.

Does MSU play at the minor league park near Ozark or do they have a field on campus?

Uh. They play at the minor league park in downtown Springfield.

Eta: I use the term "downtown" loosely.

I think we are talking about the same place, it seems to be outside of/before Springfield to me its on whatever road it is where you turn to the Missouri sports HOF/Rogersville.

You're right. They did go 58 scoreless innings. Apparently, Missouri was scheduled too deep in their schedule to break that drought.

I don't think so. It is smack dab in the middle of Springfield, just west of National and south of the Chestnut Expressway (which is no Expressway, by the way).

They're at Hammons Field in Springfield where the AA Cards play. Real nice ballpark.

Their locker room is nicer than the Cards locker room.

It'd be like if UALR played its home games at Dickey-Stephens.

I'll head up the to watch the Arkansas game next Tuesday.

Actually, Mizzou needs credit. Not all SEC universities will schedule other home state universities.

No it's not. You're thinking of the place in Ozark on 65.

You totally don't know what ball park we're talking about.

To be fair to Missouri State, they sent a team to the college world series not long ago when Ryan Howard was on that team.

Missouri State baseball isn't bad.

Dale is talking about the former Ducks baseball park in Ozark on 65.

We're talking about Hammon's Field in downtown Springfield.

He thinks we're all talking about the same place...the former Ducks field in Ozark.

But, I suspect he has no idea that a damn nice and rather new minor league park was built in Springfield.

Or else he's trolling. I never know anymore...
