Tennessee has unrivaled fan support.

Basketball arena is world class and facilities are second to none.

Knoxville is located in the Tennessee River Valley, very near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. East TN/West NC area is one of the most scenic area in the country and the weather is perfect. B1G country up north is too cold and Florida is too humid.

Nothing sad about having top attendance in the country for both football and basketball. No other school has that.

I'd only brag about this if 95,584 was the max attendance at Neyland.

I'd be more concerned with % of seats filled, rather than total attendance.

Also, frick Tennessee.

They are on reach mode again and they have presented their latest one:

attendance.

They also have admitted, thanks to this thread, they are getting their arse kicked again by SEC fans.

Arkansas has been in the top30 for football, basketball and baseball for a while now, that is something no other school in the SEC has...

It really speaks volume of Knoxville when thousands of people have nothing better to do than show up to watch a dumpster fire.

So LSU has a chance to move up into the top 5 on this list by adding 8,000+ seats next year? Cool!

Do they know what a dumpster fire is since they can't separate reality from surrealism. They can't admit the fact their athletic program is getting slowly destroyed by outsiders because a chancellor named Booger wants an academic utopia.

You can say a lot of things about UT. Even More so considering how shitty we've been the last good bit.

One thing you can't say is that we're weak in fan support. Even through all the shite( and there's been a lot of the last 7ish years), UT has one of the biggest, most passionate and one of the more elite fan bases in the south east or country for that matter.

It's full of reds, but most in this part of the country are
