Tennessee just lost a great coach because they're too impatient and arrogant

Awful that you wouldn't offer Martin a raise or contract extension. Doesn't make sense.

I'm curious which coach Tennessee has their eyes on. Tennessee must be absolutely certain that the mysterious coach in waiting will immediately perform better than Martin, which usually doesn't happen when you have to start over from scratch.

Dumb.

Tennessee has issues with firing coaches who win. Not sure what's in the water there.

Martin just took them to a Sweet 16 and was a point away from taking them the farthest their program had ever been in the tourney.

Yeah, I don't get it. I guess they believe that they can still nap Pearl from Auburn.

Curious...what is your deal, notsince? You attack me a lot considering that I never engage you period.

Weird, dude.

And to answer you question, yes I watched them. I'm also very familiar with Martin from his days at Missouri State. He's a winner. In three years he won the Missouri Valley Conference, which everyone knows is no easy task, and that was when Creighton was still a conference foe.

Say what you want, but ultimately the season comes down to the tournament - did you get in or not? If so, how far did you go?

He made it to the Sweet 16 and nearly the Elite 8. Mizzou...well...in the last three years we've lost to Norfolk State and Colorado State and missed the tournament this year.

I think Martin is on an impressive trend, while Haith is taking the program down into the gutter.

Cuonzo is better than Frank Haith, not sure what that has to do with anything.

He is still very poor. Roster is pathetic moving forward. Very good move for all parties.

Okay, good. Tell me what you thought about the offense, against both zone and man. Also, did you think the sub patterns were off or was that just me?

Wrong, Dave Hart said they offered two years and $500,000 raise in press conference just now. It was on the table and Cuonzo wanted to weigh his options.

Actually, let me pose a question to you: Who do you think Tennesee will hire that will do better than Martin's success?

I'd say you don't know much basketball then.

According to you the SEC doesn't play for a conference championship. I find that sad.

Also, Martin is the same coach that lost to Haith and got swept by A&M among other bad losses. UT should have been VERY good this year. Martin beats some weak teams in the NCAAs and he is good now? This is just a great example of how college basketball has become ruined by the NCAA tournament.

He/she has always been very passive aggressive towards other Mizzou posters.

Very beaker like.

Not surprised by your nonsense rebuttal. It's okay though, you're much like the many ignorant posters on this site that didn't watch UT play and only saw UT's somewhat serendipitous run to the Sweet 16.

But hey, why the frick would anyone on this board actually have a clue what they're talking about?

Who is this coach and what sport? Did his leaving have something to do with Martin leaving?

Our AD confirmed today he had offered Martin a 500K raise and a 2 year extension that Martin had verbally agreed to.

Maybe, but from what I'm reading here he is taking a troll thread seriously and dosen't agree. In which case he has a stronger case
