You Cat Fans inside the state probably have seen some of this already. Towns looks to be very agile already with the ball and has an outside shot. Could be interesting with WCS, ML, and possibly DJ because he looks like he can play forward at 7 ft tall.

Feel free to post other recruit vids here!

Tyler Ulis

I know he's not your prototypical big Cal PG, but that kid is a lot of fun to watch play. He dishes it well and is shifty on defense (averages around 2.5 steals a game). I don't think his height will hinder him as much as some will lead you to believe.

I'm most excited about Towns. As I've said before, I got to see him play with the Dominican Team at 16 and he more than held his own with NBA pros.

Devin Booker is a nice piece to the puzzle as well (sorry Reedus ). Can go left despite being right-handed. Smooth movement, nice shooter. He'll be a good one as well I think.

If the Twins don't come back we'll be thin at guard. Could still be a tall order.

Cal would probably look towards the transfer route if they do leave

Chad Ford just dropped this nugget:

@chadfordinsider: Harrison twins were strongly leaning toward draft. Now they are considering returning to UK after NBA feedback. Should decide on Tues/Wed

Was coming to post that. Apparently their feedback wasn't great, and it was suggested they needed another year. I agree, but some of it might be a desire to win another title on my part.

We've given 2 away this decade.

Any word on when the final count for who's staying and who's leaving will be in? JMHO, the Harrisons and Young need to return.

I am already pumped for next season after watching some of the recruit vids!

Young has already officially declared. WCS and Lee have both stated they're returning.

I don't believe there's been word from anyone else. They have until April 27th to declare so we'll know by next weekend for sure since none of them have declared and have to withdraw (that deadline was the 15th). I fully expect them to use all the time they can to make a decision.

Personally, after hearing the Twins on the radio today I think they end up declaring. So I expect them, Randle and Young to be gone with Johnson and Poythress returning. That's just an outside guess.

Thanks for the Bluegrass view. That is about what I have expected too although I still think there is an outside chance the Harrisons come back for one more. They could both be in the D-League next season if not careful.

On the flip side, I think this core of returners and newbies could put together a special team...JMHO
