Why was a&m so much slower in 2013?
Posted on 4/15/14 at 10:45 am to UMRealist
Because LSU kept their asses off the field
That's why

Sumlin probably wanted to slow down the game to keep their D off the field.

The vols will be up there. We've been running a 20 second play clock in practice, with punishments every time the clock runs out

no sure on what OM returns. I expect AU to increase because of more pass plays. UGA will stay 2-4, State probably drops a spot

Probably that damn Auburn team.

Hard to NOT run alot of plays when you defense is that bad.

Only a few play difference, but surprised to see LSU have more plays/pg in 2012 than 2013

Last year was the first year since 2007 we had a legit passing game.

Because our defense was so atrocious it dictated how quickly we could score, so that they could get a breather on the sideline. Though it didn't make much of a difference. And a new play caller.

Only thing I can think of is our defense not being as good at getting off the field, as we normally are.
