Interesting, I didn't know Bama was legitimately this interested in him. He wasn't ranked in the top 50 247 composite (3*) for the state of GA on February 10th. Then Bama offered him on the 25th and he has risen to a 4* sometime since then.

If Bama accepts your commit then your more than a 3 star. We can take 25 players in the country and if we wanted we could take a sure fire (all recruiting service) 4 star but sometimes we don't even offer them.

Okay revise that to, this early in the process if your accepted to Bama then your not a 3 star. Same can be said for a lot of SEC schools. In fact most SEC schools. Atleast, your potential is greater than that of a 3 stars.

Somewhere along the line, people got the idea that 3*s aren't good players. That was never the intention of the rating system. A 3* is often a really high upside guy in need of some development.
