I don't think he'll technically be able to apply for one til after his senior year and it's somewhat unusual - though not unheard of - to be granted a 6th year of eligibility.

He can get a 6th year if he wants it.

The kid seems really talented, so he might be done after 4 years.

or if he is really talented he will be 3 years removed from HS after the 2014 season. Just saying at best we may get 2 years of play out of him
