Actually the A logo for the Braves started when they moved to Atlanta in 1966 and the Alabama script A origins came in the late 1950's.

Once again, you idiots missed the point. Who had the scrip A first; Alabama or Arkansas?

Neither. The Braves did. Can you not read?

Not sure when Arkansas began using theirs, but UA used a script A in the late '50's (yes, long before the Atlanta MLB franchise existed).

Anyone know the origin of the Arkansas one?

I'd be willing to guess it was Bama.

Idk the origin of Ark's but is it exactly the same as the A's or just really close?

Arkansas' is Ole English, kind of like Oakland.

Side by side, you'd see how different they are. I wouldn't call ours "script".

It doesn't look identical to me, but it is very, very close.
