What kind is that? It looks like it isn't in a very good mood.

I was gonna say by the shape of the head he's likely venomous.

Yea, if that was at a park, I hope someone killed it. I would have had a stroke if I walked up on it.

I bet your park is not a shovel free zone. Shovels can be very effective snake stoppers.

Hopefully it's not a run free zone

I wouldn't have had the balls to stand there and take a pic. Odds are I would have thrown my phone at it and run off squealing like a little girl.

No need to kill snakes unless they're threatening you. They keep rat populations down and stuff.

Most of them are more scared of you than you are of them...

We have a shite ton of copperheads here. They are not nearly as venomous as a moccasin or rattler or nearly as protective (which really is more accurate than aggressive, I've never seen a snake chase someone).
Never had one mess with me if I didn't mess with it

I actually had a dream about being attacked by a copperhead last night. Guess I shouldn't have watched snakes on a plane

They can do damage. Had a friend who nearly lost an arm years ago. One was in the back of his truck. He went to pull out lumber and it struck him twice in the hand before he could pull his hand away. His forearm swole up the size of his thigh and was in the hospital for a short time from it.
